This Homemade Star Wars R2D2 Costume was built for my 6 year old son Bobby ( A diehard Star Wars Fan!)
The bottom is a garbage can, the dome is a fiber glassed punch balloon and the legs are fiber glassed cardboard forms. A lot of Bondo, Krylon, Craft Foam and Hot Glue was involved!
It was started in September and we finished installing R2’s sounds and lights on 10/30.
