My name is Vinny and I LOVE Ghostbusters! This is why I asked my grandma to make me this awesome Homemade Stay Puft Marshmallow Man Costume. She made all of the marshmallows for my arms and legs out of stretchy fabric stuffed with cotton. They are like donuts that I put on individually over white long johns. The head is made from a big piece of foam.
I wore this costume to my local community center for a Halloween party. Everyone went crazy for this costume, especially the adults! This costume was instantly recognizable and a lot of people apparently like Ghostbusters too!
My whole family was so excited about my costume that they decided to go along with my theme. My mom and dad got Ghostbuster outfits and my grandma bought a ghost costume too. We even got some Ghostbuster music for our trick-or-treating!
The bad news is that the day before Halloween I tested positive for H1N1. Now I will have to miss out trick-or-treating. But we are going to have a Halloween party for me when I get better. Since I wont get to wear my costume tomorrow, I thought I would share my picture here!
