Coolest Homemade “The Birds” Costume Idea

“The Birds” Costume Idea was so cool & easy! Tippi Hedren from Alfred Hitchcock’s “The Birds”. I searched thrift stores for the perfect 60’s dress suit (it was green in the movie, But black & white, so any color will do). I went to the craft stores and dollar stores early fall and bought as many crows as I could find. Also some random smaller birds for the hair.

I attached the birds with wire to the suit and blond wig. I was heavy on the powder makeup and wore false eyelashes of course. For the finishing touches bloody peck marks on my face with costume blood.

This costume was a hit! People instantly knew I was Tippi from “The Birds” and I won most original costume at the party I was at.
