My 3 yr old son “Dilly” wanted to be a conductor for Thomas The Tank engine. So I thought why not make it and have the memories of a project with my son. So with the help of my little one we made it happen.
I converted our 2 seater Radio Flyer Wagon into the train by using a recently purchased desk box into the frame of the train. I bought some duct tape for 6.99, I also used a hot glue gun, newspaper, 2 ping pong balls for his cheeks, lots of construction paper and both blue paint, and red, white, and black spray paint which I already had. So I only used 12.00 for the tape.
I have my son in overalls, a plaid shirt and dad’s hat with conductors name on it. It took a week to finish and I’m glad I did it. It’s easy to buy a costume… but “PRICELESS” to see how hard we worked on it together and to see how excited he was every night seeing it one step closer to Thomas. I have more pictures on the process of making Thomas, if needed.
Sincerely,
Mommy and Dilly
This really turned out nice!

How can I see more pictures of this..please? Trying to make a costume myself this year?
Thank you,
