Last year, in 2010, me and my boyfriend decided to wear a Toy Story’s costume in a Carnival’s party, he like a Wood and me like a Little Bo Peep. It was easy and cost us very cheap, because we used items of clothing we already had in the closet, others we made and some accessories we bought.
In the Wood costume, I tried to think of all details, to look like the character as most as possible with a low cost. The only thing we bought was the big white buttons of his shirt, the cowboy hat and a fabric to made the vest. The sheriff star and the belt buckle with the bull and the support for the gun were all made by hand with glue, glitter and paper. The shirt belonged to my father, was only stitched the red stripes. And the boots were borrowed.
In the Peep costume, I did it more sexy, but still cute. I already had a princess dress, I just had to make some changes.
