I just wanted to share with you my recent real life AXE EXPERIENCE this Halloween. My Ultimate Axe Effect costume was certainly the coolest!
I am finishing my 3rd year as a Civil Engineering student at the University of Waterloo, Ontario, Canada, and this past weekend I won the best costume contest at the On Campus Halloween party. I invested about 30 to 40 hours of my time into constructing my costume. It definitely made me about 8 feet tall and a real traffic stopper.
I constructed the costume out of three cardboard bike boxes, 3 rolls of packaging tape, a lot of tin foil, paint, and creativity. I was a giant life-sized bottle of AXE deodorant body spray. Complete with detailed logos, pictures, a push button, and a revolving top.
When I went on stage in front of well over a thousand people for the costume contest, the AXE EFFECT dominated the competition, and the audience chanted a deafening “AXE EFFECT, AXE EFFECT” as I sprayed two bottles of Axe in a circle and tossed the cans into the audience. Everyone loved the costume, and it provided an endless night of laughs, good times, and cheer. It was an epic night, and I would do it all over again!
