Up in Smoke Costume is really easy to make. It’s a parody of a dumb redneck lighting up a cigarette at a gas station while pumping gas. All I did was buy an Old University of Alabama t-shirt and pants. (We are Auburn fans so I was picking on the Alabama fans.) You could use Nascar themed clothing as well. You get the idea.
I ripped up one side of the pant legs and shredded the same side of the shirt. I then used black body paint on the same side of my body to make it look like I was burned from smoke. I teased one side of my hair and spray painted black and painted the same side of my face. I borrowed an old gas nozzle from the gas station down the street and then shredded a cigarette like it had exploded.
This was a very cheap and easy costume and I won the work costume contest!
