This is the best Homemade Voice Modulated Robot Halloween Costume ever! My husband made this costume for my 6 year old son. He took apart my son’s Tranformer’s voice-changer toy helmet, so that he can talk like a real robot. The very top of the robot (the “antenna”) was a baby food bowl and bubble wand spray painted silver.
A giant cardboard box was covered with tin foil. Then some old electronics equipment was taken apart and attached to the front for the “control” panel. A hole with a flap was cut out and is where the candy can be “deposited” as the Robot says “trick ro treat”. The arms were made with dryer venting tubes. He put blue, see-through plastic film (with slits so he can breathe)attached to a piece of an old satellite dish (the pointy thing that sticks out from an old satellite dish).
All the kids that have seen this so far think that it is the “coolest” Robot they have ever seen!
LOVE it!
That is the best costume ever. Any little boy or girl would love wear it. What a clever way to make a costume.
