Coolest Homemade Wall E Costume

This Wall E Costume was very easy. VERY little cost involved! I created the body using “recycled” boxes I formed the shape. Then cut out the arms, head and bottom. Coated the box form with paper mache. The paper mache created a little bit of texture and added to the look of the costume.

The arms were also formed from cardboard, I wove elastic through in two places on the arm and stitched to size. (it was painted over later) Made sure the arms were the right length and made adjustments for mobility.

For the Head I used a Kids ball cap. It needs to fit well due to the added weight in the bill. Cut and placed some heavy duty paper tubing. I cut one side to create the tear shape. I used additional cardboard and paper mache to create the eyes. I attached to hat using hot glue.
The box and eyes were painted using acrylic craft paints. A harvest yellow, a couple of browns, black, silver, and red.

For his Trick or Treat bucket, I purchased the Cooler online “recycled” from Craigslist $5. Printed and taped the “BL” logo in the cooler.

The black sweats and Hoodie were purchased at Target!
