This Honey Boo Boo homemade costume idea came about 3 months ago right when the Honey Boo Boo craze first started. We worked on this costume for 3 months just 1 or 2 days a week. We just recently finished it. Every detail was sewn on by myself, my best friend, and her mother.
I took plain black wedge shoes and decorated them to resemble small heels that you see on the show Toddlers and Tiaras. The wig was ordered on line and the tiara was purchased at a local bargain jewelry store. The dress is very detailed and is 90% identical to the actual dress Honey Boo Boo wears in most of her pageants. I am very excited to debut this costume. I am performing in a night club tomorrow (as Honey Boo Boo). I’m hosting a fashion show Friday night (as Honey Boo Boo) and I’m going to Dallas’ biggers Halloween block party (10,000+ show up) on Saturday. Hopefully my dress and wig make it through this crazy schedule.
