We had so much fun with this costume! I got pajamas and stained them with blood. Then bought a “prop” and cut the tip off and painted it with glue then blood. Inside a sidewalk chalk box I covered with an Evidence sticker (using actual info), I put the tip in a baggie with extra blood. To attach the “prop” to my husband I cut a small hole in the middle of a fabric strip, then fed it through his belt loops and tied it in the back (he wore jeans underneath because it was cold). Everyone loved our costume and I’m sure we would have won the costume contest, but we had to leave the party early. I think my total cost was about $45 for everything!
