After renting costumes last year as the three little pigs and winning, we had to go over the top and create this years Halloween costumes. So we decided to go as the legendary KISS. Myself and three of my buddies gathered different items to create these unbelievable costumes and won for the 2nd year in a row at our local bar contest.
Each member had a pair of leggings to start the costumes pants. We then got a cheap pair of boots, two of our members spray painted them silver. Spaceman wore an old bubble vest in which he wrote in a glitter pen some lightning bolts and also on his pants. For the demon costume we got Styrofoam for the spikes and spray painted them silver. Also two children’s capes were used as the wings for each arm along with some studs that we bought from a craft shop. The studs were also placed on our leggings and other parts of our body to help give our costumes some more style. We each got a wig that fit our band member’s hairstyle and adjusted it to fit the performer. Checking out our picture, its pretty obvious we won again.
