Coolest Lamb / Sheep Costume

Here is what I used to make this costume:

Cotton balls – 350 (2.5 bags – 140 cotton balls in 1 bag)
White hooded jacket
1 black felt for ears (white materials for ears from jackets sleeves)
1 -8oz “Fabri-Tac” glue
Covers for shoes from sleeves leftovers
Shopping – 2h + 2.5h work

Good Luck!

  1. I used your idea to make my son a lamb costume for the Christmas play, and to keep the cotton balls from getting too fluffy, I sprayed them with hairspray (a lot)! and it worked pretty well.

I suppose there is probably some craft product that is meant for this, but the hairspray worked fine.

  2. I was given the idea to make it by someone at “Party Boy” because they did not have a sheep costume. I am going to do this, but I am going to use the sheep headband ears. I hope that it comes out right. My grand daughter is a sheep in the Church Christmas Program. I can’t wait to see how it comes out!!

  3. I tried making this costume for my daughter and presto!…..done deal…..very economical….I bought the sleevless jacket at a thrift store for $2.99, and the rest of the supplies I already had at home. thanks, I’m very pleased!
