Every year we ask our son, Caenen, what he wants to be for Halloween around August because he usually has a very tall order. This year he wanted to be a Lego guy. He is a Lego fanatic and just as fanatical about Star Wars, so we decided to combine the 2 ideas and make a Homemade Lego Storm Trooper Costume and this is the result.
My husband is a fabricator, so he took an actual Lego guy to work and measured him with the digital calipers in order for him to be to scale. Blueprints were made up and off we went to work. He made the body and hands, and I made the head. The gun and mask we bought, but, hey, why not?
He won first place in the local mall costume contest!
