This year I had a broken leg but still made it out for Halloween. I had a lot of time on my hands and decided to make a Homemade Loofa Costume. I just used a nude colored tube top dress and I got pink and purple tule and lots of safety pins and pinned it on the inside of the dress. I had purple tights on and wore pink fishnets over them. Also got the string at the fabric store and blue bubbles all night.
It took about 2-3 hours to pin all the tule on it was pretty easy, had to make several trips to the fabric store to get the whole thing filled out so it ended up being about 40 yards of material, luckily it was on sale and only cost about $25. It was lots of fun most people could tell what I was but I was on crutches and for some reason people thought I was some kind of fairy. Once I told them what it was, people got it and said I had a great costume!
