Got the idea from Wendy of FL. Thanks by the way!!! Thought is was an amazing and unique idea especially for a costume contest.
We used about 30 yards of netting, a tank top, about 50 safety pins, and 1 yd of cord per costume. I attached the cord as a halter around my neck to help hold up the netting weight. My loofah (the pink one) seemed to take much longer to create than my friend’s did. I guess it all depends on how articulate you want to be with it.
Either way, the loofahs were a huge hit and everyone loved getting close and scrubbin on us all night!
I would love to borrow this idea for this Halloween. Can you tell me where you picked up the netting? And what kind of fabric it is exactly?
Thanks!
Go to Michaels it is $4:99 for 25 yards…way cheaper than the Fabric store which sells it for $108.00 for 36 yards.
