I have to admit, I got a lot of these ideas for this Homemade Lucy Van Pelt Costume from this board. I work in HR, so finding the right costume is not always easy. I’ve been asked to promote our Employee Assistance Program and this got the key audience’s attention!
The head was made from a pinata – striped and painted ($15). The dress was a thrift shop find plus lace and thread ($10). Shoes ($10) materials and thread ($15). Cardboard, scrap wood, and hot glue ($1).
My youngest daughter loaned me her musical Woodstock to carry throughout the day. This was a lot of fun for everyone!
