I made this whole Mad Hatter homemade costume and make up by myself here in Chile, with contacts and all the stuff. Here in Chile it’s very difficult to buy a wig or scarwax, for example. There are no professional costume stores, so you can’t get spirit gum or scar wax.
I’m studying (sorry for my English) fashion design and I love to make hats, so all my life I feel like the Mad Hatter and I love Tim Burton’s work, so for me it is natural to generate this costume. I won the best Halloween contest in my state with it and I’m very happy to be in your contest.
All the clothes are made by myself, except for the shoes, but I had to paint them yellow. I modified the costume to wear it on a discotheque, so i made a vest and not a coat. I hope u like it ;) Kisses…
