Coolest Mario Brothers Couple Costume

So, after being frustrated by not being able to find a green or red hat anywhere in our college town, I decided to make my own. The structure of the hat is made with yellow poster board, and then covered in construction paper. Lastly I added the letter emblem to the hats (this hat making process was easier said then done.)

I then cut up and old pair of leggings to create the suspenders. I added the yellow circle to the suspenders (also cut from the yellow poster board). Lastly we wore red and green tank tops underneath, and it all tied together! What makes this Mario Brothers Couple Costume interesting is that it was completely homemade, INCLUDING the hats!
