Jim Carrey was my hero in the Mask. I wanted to pay homage to that film this year, which is why I started out with a white Ghoul ‘s mask from a Halloween store. I cut the mouth part out so my lips could be exposed, which I would later coat in black lipstick. The mask itself I covered with several coats of Apple Tart acrylic paint from Michaels.
Rounding out my inner zany guy, I purchased a Zoot suit online, a white dress shirt and spiffy tie to stand out from a thrift store and a matching colored small fedora, with feather in the cap courtesy of AC Moore.
SUMMMBUDDDEEE STOOOPPPP MUHHHHEEE!!!
