Coolest Mickey and Minnie BFF Couple Costume

For our Mickey and Minne BFF costume, we used clothing items that we already had at home to pull this costume off. The only thing we had to buy were the ears and gloves. I used two round pieces of white felt for the button on the red shorts. Luckily, I had this cool tuxedo jacket in my closet.

I wanted to go for an old school Mickey look  when he dressed on the tuxedo. I had the yellow bow-tie from a previous costume as well. The red shorts were part of my summer wardrobe. I chose to have on shorter type shorts to give it some modern sexy appeal. In hindsight, I would have worn all black tights instead of fishnets and maybe closed toed shoes. However it was last minute and all I had.

For Minnie’s costume, the dress  is a vintage reproduction style dress from h&m. Added the sparkly jacket to give it some modern appeal. And there you have it! A homemade and last minute costume.
