We wanted to create a costume that was a ninja turtle costume, but also made a reference to the artist. We thought the best way to do that was to add photos of paintings to the shells.
- Shirts: We bought green shirts at a craft store and painted them with yellow fabric paint and a black fabric marker
- Shells: We cut them out of cardboard and painted them green. The we glued all the paintings to seperate pieces of cardboard, cut them, and glued them on. The straps were elastic from the craft store, hot glued on.
- Belts: Brown foam paper from the craft store and a black circle and colored letter cut from felt.
- Masks: Felt and elastic hot glued together.
The weapons and tights were from the costume store. The shorts were from sports authority.
