Coolest One Eyed One Horned Flying Purple People Eater Costume

I got this One Eyed One Horned Flying Purple People Eater Costume idea from the song, obviously. It was a hit, although some people didn’t know what it was which boggled my mind.

I bought the dress from Forever 21, but any purple dress, or purple attire will work for this. I also purchased purple fishnet stockings from there just to keep warm!

The horn and eyeball are styrofoam cone and ball from Joann Fabrics. I wrapped the cone in purple felt and hot glued it to the cone. I then cut black felt to resemble eye lashes and hot glued them to the eye. I also adhered a “googly” eye to the front of the ball, and painted the back of it black.

I bought a pair of butterfly-like wings (but any type would work… maybe something more like bat wings?) and used purple acrylic paint to give it a twist and make it work better with the costume.

The tail was made out of purple shag material. I cut out a pattern that looked like a dragons’ tail over something that would be an animal tail because I thought it looked more interesting. I stuffed it and just attached it to my dress with large safety pins (the perks of being a college student haha!)

*For make up I bought purple and black fake eyelashes and used purple eyeshadow. Nothing too crazy since the costume pretty much spoke for itself.
