Coolest “Party Animals” Costume

My friend and I were party animals for Halloween. I dressed up as a peacock, and my friend was a lion, then we accessorized with party hats and party horns! I purchased a blue dress, black tights and black boots. In addition, I made a Chinese fan to create the fan of feathers. I hot glued black felt over the fan and then glued the feathers to the felt. I also wore peacock earrings.

As for the lion costume, she purchased a fur vest and handmade lioness ears by hot gluing tan and brown felt to a headband. She also wore fur cuffs and curled her hair to look like a mane! She wore a tan skirt, brown leg warmers, tan booties and a brown top to complete the lioness outfit.

This “Party Animals” Costume was fun and pretty easy to make. We got a lot of compliments all night this costume was a hit!
