Cool Peacock DIY Halloween Costume

I started this October out with numerous different ideas…GaGa, Katy Perry, Queen of Hearts. I just couldn’t decide what I wanted to be. My goal was to win my work Halloween costume contest (which I did!). I first went with Queen of Hearts and while searching for accessories I came across Peacock Wings (which seems odd…because Peacock’s don’t have wings) but it gave me inspiration. I became obsessed and googled Peacock Costumes. I came across so many good ones and decided I would make my own Homemade Peacock DIY Halloween Costume rather than purchase the cheesy one with the foam tail sold at most Halloween stores.

It was a huge hit! I have worn it to three parties and everyone could not believe I made the whole thing! I crafted up two nosew tutu’s, covered a corset in feathers, adorned my shoes with feathers, made feather earrings, and a peacock tail. Overall there are 100+ feathers in my costume (peacock feathers also sewn into my tutu).
