My son, Omer, is crazy about Phinnias and Ferb. So last Purim he wanted me to create him a costume of them. But as this funny couple had ready costumes to buy in the shops we decided to create Perry the Platypus Costume.
I sew a green Lycra overall zippered at the back . Glued a foam tail at the back and added transparent wires, so it’ll stand at the right position. The wires were connected at the shoulders. The head and hat are made of sponge and felt. The orange parts are foamed polimer material we call “palzif”. I don’t know the English name of it. It was connected to the overall with Velcro squares around the neckline.
No need to mention it was the greatest costume at his school!
