Coolest "Peter Pan" Characters Costumes

I am a Fashion School drop out BUT, it doesnt keep me from “tinkering” around the sewing machine every once in awhile!. I LOVE designing and creating my own costumes for Halloween and my husband of 2 years is actually starting to let me take creative control over his Halloween costumes. The costume I made him was Captain Hook. My 1 year old son is Peter Pan. With my Tinkerbell costume I wanted to sort of create something that was more form fitting for myself because, I’m obviously not as slender and slim as Tinkerbell, so I made the original design of her dress and drapped a sheer glittery (or as I like to call it Pixie Dusty) fabric over it. Making it seem as if Tinkerbell is going to prom. LOL.

I had a blonde wig from my costume last year (Alice in Wonderland) in my closet that I styled into a bun and wings I bought at “spirit Halloween”. I know Halloween is tommorow but I am still working on the shoes for my costume. I usually make my own patterns for clothes so that I know I have an “original Design” but I have to admit that for this year I wish I would have used one AT LEAST for my husband’s Captain Hook coat, hat and pants. Men’s wear is not my favorite but I got through it and saved the day by making him stand in my sewing room for hours as a live dress form hahah!.
