This is a Homemade Queen Of Hearts Costume. The dress was purchased as a vampire dress but soon converted to the Queen of Hearts. The checkered pattern is a sheet from the thrift store that was cut and wrapped around the torso. The necklaces is made out of a deck of cards that have holes punched in them and are strung out on a string. The crown is made of the deck of cards as well, the cards are stapled together and the top cards are cut in a triangle than bent and stapled. The crown is stapled to the red hair which is a plain red wig. The wig was striaght so we curled it and put the hair into Thumbalina. Then stapled the crown on.
The makeup was done with a white base and then flour blown on top to finish it off. The lipstick is done in the shape of a heart so you always look like your pursing your lips. The eyeshadow is a light blue that you can get any time all year around. This outfit was a ton of fun and even got asked by a few different people to get my pic with them. I hope you enjoy the costume but dont forget if you dress up as the Queen of Hearts get into the character! Tons of fun!
