I always try to do something a little different and creative for Halloween. This year, I decided to be a cupcake!
To make the Homemade Sexy Cupcake Costume, I started with the cupcake wrapper. It was made out of a large piece of white cardstock spray-painted silver and accordion-folded. To hold its shape, I attached the paper to a laundry basket with the bottom cut out for my legs.
For the frosting, I purchased teddy bear filling and cupcake fabric at a local craft store. Using a hot glue gun, I shaped the fluff into frosting and added pipe cleaners and pom-poms for sprinkles.
Finally, for the candle on my head, I used an old headband, glued on a red ribbon (tied into a bow), and attached a toilet paper roll painted red. I added a tea light (that changed colors) on top of the toilet paper roll.
This costume was super cheap and easy to make!
