Homemade Shrek and Fiona Costume

For the Shrek costume I used brown pajama pants with a beige thermal for the shirt. For Shrek’s vest I used a regular brown t-shirt then cut off the sleeves, cut the shirt half way to where it barely touches the belly, I then cut it from top to bottom for it to look like a jacket, made holes to be able to tie the vest on and used the scraps of the shirt to make the string for the vest. The boots were just my boyfriends work boots. Then green paint for the face and hands and the only thing we purchased were the ears…the belly was my boyfriends :)…

For Fiona I just used a purple renaissance dress painted myself green and I purchased the wig so it could have ears… very easy, fun and affordable costumes!
