My husband and his best friend are big fans of the movie Smokey and the Bandit. They can quote the whole movie, so we decided it would make great Halloween costumes. We have a Halloween party every year and we always chose original homemade couples costumes. My husband is a stickler to details so for the Bandit he not only shopped for the exact clothes but he made turquoise jewelry and glued on chest hair. The sheriff even had the toilet paper in his glasses. For Carrie aka Frog I found a wedding dress from 20 years ago to represent the scene where Bandit picks Carrie up after leaving Sheriff’s son at the altar.
Of course, you would have needed to see the movie to really appreciate the Homemade Smokey and the Bandit Group Costumes. But we had a great time preparing and showing them off at the party. Hopefully you will find the fun in them as well.
