My son wanted to be Thomas the train and I have never cared for any of the store bought costumes at all. So I had a Thomas and freight car Halloween costume idea and decided to build one on his wagon. Off to work I went. Found huge box cut and hot glued it to the shape of Thomas. Used dry ice to make smoke come up.
For freight car we bolted a box on after removing wheels and then replaced them. He wanted his dog to ride in freight car so of course he did. He loved it and I think it turned out pretty good.
