This Homemade Up! Group Costume is one of my proudest costumes. I made the house myself in 9 days. The frame is made from PVC pipe, the walls are foam board with paper “siding.” The front room is a diorama with movie specific details. Inside you will find Dug the Dog, Kevin the bird and a poster of Muntz on the wall. Also above the fireplace is the painting Ellie did and the little red bird sits on the mantle.
Russell was covered in handmade patches ALL screen accurate. His backpack was filled with camping supplies including rope, cooking implements and even a bugle.
Carl was the simplest of the bunch with nothing more than a suit and a cane (complete with tennis balls) a wig and square glasses finished off the look.
