I made this woopie cushion Halloween costume for my daughter Avery. She loved it. And after trick or treating said it made all the “old guys” laugh. It was a hit.
I started off by purchasing material that was the same pink hue as a woopie cushion. Then I cut out the shape of a woopie cushion (like a bulb) through 2 layers of material and laid a piece of quilt bat on top. I sewed the 3 layers together leaving a hole a the top of the bulb for the head, and an opening for the legs. Then, I used black paint and hand painted the picture on the front using a paint brush and regular acrylic craft paint.
Then I went to the dollar store to purchase a woopie cushion to sew on the inside for sound effects, but I ended up finding a remote control woopie cushion that was battery operated. It had the noise maker attached to a long cord with a button on the end that I wired down her arm so she could press it when she wanted to make the farting noise.
This made the costume as it was funny and the kids thought it was really funny too.
I need a electronic whoopee cushion for my whoopie cushion costume so that way it will be perfect
You misspelled whoopee cushion, maybe thats why people were laughing, but its still very creative and fun!! good job! 4 1/2 stars~!
