My son was born in October and I’m a huge fan of Halloween. I wanted to dress him up for his very first Halloween and needed an easy costume for a 1 month old infant. We are also big fans of Tim Burton and we decided on doing the Nightmare Before Christmas.
Daddy and I went as Jack and Sally (and as I just had a baby was too busy to hand make those costumes). For our son we decided to make him a Homemade Zero the Ghost Dog Baby Costume.
I used a Christmas tree skirt for the body and sewed a red satin ribbon (as the collar) around the hole where my son’s head would go. As for the hat, I took an white infant hat, sewed on two black felt circles for eyes, and cut ears out of white felt and sewed them on either side.
All together we looked awesome! And the costume was comfy for my baby. Probably my favorite Halloween to date!
