My son wanted to be a scary costume for halloween this last year. So I did some research online and found this page. He really liked this idea so we went with it. And it was really simple to do.
First, I work at a restaurant so finding a box was pretty easy. Spray painted the box brown and cut a hole for his head and 2 holes for his hands to “dig out”. Then I hot glued spanish moss ( found in flower section at wal-mart) to the top of the box. They had a bunch of little creature toys around the house so i hot glued some spiders, snakes and a rat to the top also. We took a pair of old gloves and cut the fingers off, so he wouldn’t hurt his hands when he stuck them threw the cardboard. Also found some temporary tattoos of cuts and sores and put them on his face. ( they were not that easy to come off….took about 3 days of scrubbing…lol) and painted his face white. Then just had to tear up some of his old clothes and you got yourself a zombie.
I did have one of those little headstones at the back of the box, but it didn’t stay on there for to long…
