Creative Turkey Head on Thanksgiving Table Costume Idea

Last year my son decided to be a Thanksgiving table.

This creative Turkey Head on Thanksgiving Table costume idea was super easy to create! I just cut two squares out of cardboard and hot glued them together. I also taped them together, for added security! I cut a hole in the middle, large enough to fit Zeke’s head through, covered it with a tablecloth (which I also glued on) and cut the hole for the tablecloth. Be careful when using hot glue with a plastic table cloth. It can melt the plastic! (I learned that the hard way!). I glued on some plastic plates, cups, napkins, and silverware and cut out another piece of cardboard, which I covered in aluminum foil to represent the platter.

We found the turkey hat for $2.50 in the dollar section of Target about a month ago. I wasn’t even thinking about Halloween when I bought it!

If you create this costume, be careful around fires and near other people! My son nearly knocked down a few people!
