Creepy Ventriloquist Doll Costumes

I make my kids their costumes every year. This year’s theme was something creepy and they decided on dolls and I got to thinking Ventriloquists!! They loved the idea and I went with it. They were both pretty easy.

For her dress I used black and white gingham fabric and some lace and a big red bow tie. Her little top hat was a last minute idea but made a great addition to her costume.

For his, I made his blazer from the same fabric, paired it with a white button down shirt and black slacks and red bow tie. He decided on the knife and made it that much more creepy!

With a few hours spent on the sewing machine and tons of make up these doll costume ideas were a hit and first place winners!
