I wanted to dress up with my Boston terrier for Halloween. Her name is Lola and she pretty much goes wherever I go so I knew we had to do a couple costume. I just couldn’t figure out what I wanted us to be. Then one night out I was drinking a crown and sprite and it’s like a whiskey and soda light bulb kicked on.
The next day I went to Hobby Lobby and bought a child’s green shirt, painted the colors of a sprite can, gold yarn and jewels to add to a crown I found in my grandmother’s attic. Basically my costume was easy. I searched high and low for a purple velvet dress and this is what I came upon, tied the gold ribbon around my waist and added the jewels to my crown and I was crown.
Lola’s costume “sprite” took the most work. Trying to figure out how to cut the shirt to fit her and then painting the logo on. Anyhow, vote for us pleeassee!
