Cute Baby Costume: Raoul Duke

Here’s my son’s cute baby costume: Raoul Duke from Hunter S. Thompson’s Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.

I put a bucket hat on Wes this past summer and observed that he looked like Hunter S. Thompson (or more accurately, Raoul Duke, I suppose). We were able to piece the costume together fairly easily -khakis, loafers, Hawaiian-print shirt. I had to buy the baby aviators and the Targard cigarette filter (the actual filter used by Hunter S. Thompson… of course with a pen in place of the cigarette).

Seven-month-old Wes was fairly compliant during the photo shoot.
