My dad is a certified scuba diver, so I thought he’d love seeing his grand daughter dressed up as a tiny scuba diver. I just finished the costume yesterday and am still working on the tutorial, but when it’s done I’ll post it on my blog.
I used a ton of duct tape, electrical tubing, soda bottles and irrigation fittings. My husband and I were planning on going as fish but we ran out of steam. It’s amazing that I finished her costume!
She’s wearing black tights, a long sleeved black onsie and a ski cap that we bought while vacationing at a ski resort. The only problem that I had with the costume was the flippers. They were uncomfortable for her and she just wanted to pull them off. I was pretty amazed that she kept the rest of it on! Seemed like she liked the attention. She was even trying to suck on the “respirator”/t-bar irrigation tube ;)
