There was a sorority date function called “Trick or Treat” and the theme was fiesta, and instead of going in mariachi clothes or something, we decided to go as chips and salsa.
Basically, all we did was get some foam from a craft store (Joann’s Fabric to be exact) and cut it to the shape we wanted. Then we spent DAYS painting them (because the foam was just absorbing the paint, so it took 3 days to complete). Then we got some white elastic and hot glued it to the foam so it would hang off our shoulders and that it!
The costume was such a hit, we won cutest costume…by a landslide.
