My best friend and I have always called each other Thing 1 and Thing 2. We’ve always talked about actually dressing up like them on Halloween for years!
My best friend moved away 6 years ago, so we haven’t celebrated Halloween together in years. This year she said she was coming to town PreHalloween weekend so we can go out. So then came the vision…. lol.
I knew I wanted to do tutus because they’re fun and cute. Found this on on amazon. I knew I wanted to do blue wigs, but didnt want to do ugly ones I would trash after it serves its purpose. So I found these really cute lace front wigs that are actually pretty natural looking besides them being shiney also got on amazon.
Next I contemplated on doing a full red body suit like the characters wear, but I’m not skinny so that was a No! Lol. Decided to cut Thing 1 and Thing 2 leggings with a red off the shoulders style body suit. Last touch was getting the sticky Thing 1 and Thing 2 patch and while getting those I saw the blue suspenders and figured it would be the perfect touch.
Everyone loved our theme and thought it was so cute and original.
