This was a homemade Davy Jones costume. We bought a pirate hat, but everything else was handmade. We used a black outfit and added lots of cloth scraps to make it look tattered. We added a belt and sword and a big lobster claw made out of cardboard painted orange.
The coolest part was the mask with all the tenticles. Every single one was a hand stuffed piece of pantyhose. The stuffing was basic craft stuffing. We attached them all into a mask that went all the way around his head. They were various lengths and sizes.
It was a pretty cool costume!
