This Tooth Fairy costume idea took me a whole year of planning. It really wasn’t difficult to bring to life after I got the idea in my head.
It took about 4 hours to apply the special effects make up on my face. I made the teeth part beforehand out of Kleenex and Latex. The teeth are from a necklace I bought from my local Dollar Store, and I painted them with nail polish.
It took lots of time and work to create this look, but it was definitely worth it in the end.
I kept getting people wanting to take a picture with me. The would ask if I do special effects makeup for a career and I would reply, “No! I just taught myself and do it for Halloween.”
My motivation for doing the special effects well is to be able to enjoy people’s reactions. I love it when they look at me and get scared!
