DIY Dumb and Dumber Couple Costume with Awesome Mutt Cutt’s Car

This year we decided to be Dumb and Dumber for Halloween. I really wanted to make it extra special this year, so I decided to use our carpet fragments from a recent remodel in our home to create the Mutt Cutt’s car! My hubby has a cute little vintage MG, and it was the perfect size for this project.

I got to work, making a pattern, and sewing together each piece of carpet with fishing line! The nose is made from an old black backpack, and the tongue from recycled red fabric.

To say we love Halloween is quite an understatement. It’s definitely our favorite time of year! happy Halloween!
