I asked my 3 year old what he wanted to be for Halloween and he said Marshall from Paw Patrol. I thought ‘awe crap how am I ever going to make this?’.
So I got a cardboard box and a Marshall toy car and went to work. I hit up Pat Catans once or twice (one trip even included a 3 year old temper tantrum) for some felt, foam, paint, and a glue gun.
The end result was more than I ever hoped for and even has a movable ladder. We went to a trick or treat event and he had toddlers following him around because he was Marshall. I have a happy little boy, so the 7 hours spent making it along with the hot glue gun burns were totally worth it.
