My son wanted to be a robot, a robot with lights. I think we did a good job recreating an old standby into something fun and special. We used led candles and led Christmas lights that ran on batteries for the lights. The costume was made of two amazon boxes, duct tape and love:) We had so many compliments, and my son was oh, so proud to wear his robot. The thing wasn’t easy to move around in. My son couldn’t clasp his hands together while in it, and when trick or treating he dropped a candy and couldn’t bend down to get it. It all added to the charm of it. We were so pleased with how well it turned it, we had so many compliments.
Sadly, we won’t be wearing this costume a second time around. We had a rainy Halloween and the cardboard took a hit in the wet weather.
