Fun Dog and Owner Couple Costume: Loofah and Soap

This year I thought it would be fun to dress up with my dog, so we chose to be soap and a loofah. The costumes were easy.

Loofah: I made a body suit out of blue fabric. I made it a little bigger than his body and added Velcro to hold on him. I bought about 20 yards of blue tulle and then safety pinned it all over the body suit. Then I proofed it out and added a rope.

Soap: I sewed 2 pieces of white felt together almost like a pillow case. I cut the letters out of blue felt and sewed them on. The finishing touches were adding bubble wrap to the shoulders.

We have gotten a lot of compliments and the total cost was about $30 which was totally worth it!
