The reaction we got from the Maleficent costume was great. I took her to the store before Halloween in her costume and people were stopping us every couple steps to either take a picture or ask where I got it and they were amazed when I told them I made it, I had a couple of people that offered to buy it off of us but I said it wasn’t for sale.
The difficult thing about it was that when I was almost done with the dress my sewing machine gave up on me so I had to finish the zipper and straps by hand I had also ran out of black thread so I used white thread then grabbed a black sharpie to color in all the white thread that was showing.
